HOMEWORK 5-2-13

Tonight you will explore rocks and plants.

Go to Education City.  Select first grade science.  First, do the Rolling Stone activity.  It is in the Earth Materials section.

After that, do the Pick a Tomato activity.  It is in the Living organisms section.

COMMENT BOX:  Write 3 things you learned doing these 2 activities.  You should have 3 sentences in all.

The stem in a flower keeps the plant strong.

Rocks can be smooth, hard, soft, and rough.

The sun shines on the leaves to make the plant grow because it needs the sun.
